I believe that every human is unique and fundamentally good, complex, messy, and beautiful, and has the potential to harm and heal.
How I Work
I have a warm and earnest approach. I strive to understand my clients holistically and create a relationship built on safety, trust, collaboration, and hope. I believe that we are all worthy of love, respect, repair, and living a life that is blessed because of who we are. I’d be honored to be on the therapeutic journey with you.
Together we will pay close attention to your inner terrain and get to know your edges. We will be mindful of your thinking patterns, and the stories we’ve learned to tell ourselves. Explore the meanings given to stories and new ways of being and relating. We’ll name the oppressive systems (racism, white supremacy, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, compulsive heteronormativity, fundamentalism, etc) that chronically impact how we live and make it difficult to safely access parts of who we are.
I am a Shelterwood Collective member. I consistently consult with supervisors and clinical groups and pursue trauma-informed education and learning.
